Dear Mr. Urner

Thanks for your note of interest in including an article on Buckminster
Fuller. I have consulted with our associate editors and they have advised
not including it. The principal reason is that the IEP focuses narrowly on
topics and people that are discussed in academic philosophy. Although
Fuller's contributions to civilization are indeed substantial, his
writings do not figure in academic philosophy reference works.

I found your essay very interesting and well written and believe that
there is some appropriate internet forum for it. I encourage you to shop
your piece around.

Best regards.
